Oh my goodness, how do such things happen?
Phone Call: Would you like to do an interview with Mary Beth Chapman, wife of Stephen Curtis Chapman?
Me: Uh…of course!
E-mail: Would you like to be a radio guest on Girl Talk Texas?
Me: Uh…of course!
Pause…a day passes…
My options:
Option 1 – Oh my gosh, what was I thinking…I am definitely going to crash and burn here…I am just a mom after all. What do I know about such things. I wonder if I can can recontact them and tell them…”I’m sorry, I just can’t, but thanks anyway.”
Option 2 – It’s not about me, it’s about God and how He may want me to step out in faith and trust Him to do what He wants to do through me. Obedience. Trust. Believe.
I chose Option 2.
I made it through the radio program today. It was quite fun – check out my new friends at Girl Talk Texas.
Tomorrow the interview with Mary Beth Chapman.
Deep breath.
Constantly reminding myself of Option 2.
Trusting God with my inadequecies certainly is an adventure!
