Family Time
Hey friends, last week we were on a family vacation and during this week of Thanksgiving I am going to continue to stay away from blogging and social media to invest in relationship with those around me. I am filled with a heart of gratitude and praising my Savior. I hope you too are savoring the flavors of food and fellowship! Many blessings to you. … [Read more...]
It Is Not My Fault – Big Fat Liar
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. I have heard that little mantra my whole life and have seen the cute photos of people (and monkeys) with their hands over their eyes, ears and mouth – I always thought that was a great word picture. Psalm 101 points out this truth and goes one further, reminding us to protect our hearts as well and avoid the evil of pride. So often in life we can get caught up in the “evil moment” and find our … [Read more...]
Whack Priorities
I am struck by the fact that as humans we have this profound tendency to have our priorities out of whack. Many are now homeless and have nothing but the clothes on their backs. Many residents of devastated areas … [Read more...]

I have to say it is way awesome when I can hear God above all the noise. When I am paying attention He keeps me ever humble if my thoughts and words get me into trouble as I am seeking and … [Read more...]

Join me over at MomLife Today and learn more about my heart attack condition. … [Read more...]
Sacrifice & Homecoming Ignored!
I am sitting in an airport…crying. While the world around me continues to turn and people scurry. The escalators before me carry travelers, many, many travelers. Face after face coming down the escalator appears weary and laden down with heavy loads – and not just in their arms. Just moments ago I watched a woman of 40 something bounce up and down and squeal in excitement, there on the down escalator was a younger version of her … [Read more...]
