Today has been a good day! I started the morning at Barbara Rainey’s home for a little get together for several women who are giving their lives to the service of others by being on staff at FamilyLife.
It was fun to sit in a room filled with women from all over the country who are stepping into the unknown, but looking forward with anticipation as to how God will use and grow their families as they help other families. Good stuff.
I then went straight to FamilyLife for a meeting about some exciting resources, filled with help and hope, that are headed out the door in the next few months. Knowing that these resources will make a difference in the lives of families leaves me anticipating great things. More good stuff.
Then my daughter and I went to the Senior High Awards banquet where she received an award for Christian Leadership. My quiet, shy daughter is starting to step out and determine how God might use her in this world to positively influence others. More wonderment at how God is at work all around me. Even more good stuff.
Forgive me for this rather simple post. But hey…today was a good day filled with good stuff!
